She had been told to wait in a hall, one of the many halls in the Lord's Place. It was made of an unnamable material that was opalescent and had the same composition as marble. It gleamed and glowed with the same light that everything in Heaven did. Although it would normally put her at ease, Ariel was uncomfortable.
